Can't recommend this enough... it's invaluable to have space like this to practice, especially through the winter months. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm much more likely to practice if it's all set up for me and I can socialise at the same time. Classes are a must, but it's so good to have time to use however you want to use it - I didn't stop grinning the first week. It was like playtime!!!

[...] Bristol hoopers will be spinning their hoops for 13 miles to raise money for charity. Emma Kerr and Zoe Pither (pictured) of Hooping Mad, along with 20 other hoopers, will be taking part in a half marathon hoop walk from Bath to Bristol in support of Performers Without Borders, Spark! Circus and World Hoop day. The pair will embark on their hoop challenge on Sunday. Emma told the Evening Post, “Hooping is a fantastic way to be expressive and Bristol has a large number of talented hoopers. It’s all about community, whether locally, nationally or internationally, and this is a chance for hoopers in the South West to use their talents to give something back.” The route will start at Bath railway station and go down the cycle path to Bristol city centre, with the pair and about 20 other participants “just dancing all the way”. Full story: This is Bristol. To get involved or donate: Hooping Mad [...]
