Other Bristol Meets

This page lists other spinning/juggling meets happening in Bristol that although not specifically for Hoopers, are great spaces for practice!

(In case you came straight here… remember to check out the Wednesday Hoop Jam at the College!)

Scroll down for details

Spin Jam at the Island Tuesdays 8-10pm

Great meet but not always space for hooping.

£2,

8pm every Tuesday

The Island
Silver Street
Bristol city centre
(next door to laser Quest).

Message from Sandy:
“The gate is usually locked so you either have to get someone walking past to let you in or call someone inside to let you in. Either me (Sandy) or Tim are pretty much always there, our numbers can be found on the info section on the right hand side of the facebook group.

People are generally happy to show you moves if you ask nicely, just come in and say hi :-)

Poi, staff, hoop, juggling, acro, devil stick, and whatever else turns up for the princely sum of £2!”

Please see the fb group for more details!

University Juggling Society (Circussoc) – Sundays 2.30-5pm. TERM TIME ONLY

Plenty of space for Hooping here!

Other Bristol Juggling Meets

Monday 8pm – 10pm, Altern8 Juggling Club, Horfield United Reform Church Hall. Corner of Muller Road and Downend Road. Contact “Jon at Juggler dot net”
(I’ve never been to this so can’t offer specific information on how hoop friendly it is but it’s quite a small space so might not be so good for hooping – always good for socialising though!)

Tuesdays 7pm – 9pm, Dab Hands Juggling Club, Church Hall, Church Road, Wellington Avenue
(I’ve never been to this but I’ve been told that it’s hooper friendly and always has space!)

For more information have a look at bristolcircus.co.uk where there is a more comprehensive list.
